Medicine Hat Films

Medicine Hat Films was an independent film company based in Cork, Ireland. The first film produced under the name was Heart (2010) written and directed by Mark Cogan & produced by Amanda Ferriter. It screened at numerous festivals internationally and won the best screenplay award at the Underground Cinema Awards 2010. This was followed by All Night Long & Partly Cloudy, both of which also found international audiences and awards success. The Handsome Shadows was the final project, a drama featuring the characters seen in Heart & Partly Cloudy.
